Balsamic & maple roasted brussels sprouts

Ok I have to admit I was never a big fan of brussels sprouts growing up. However, when I discovered roasting them this way I am now a LOVER of brussels sprouts! I cook these all year round and it is so simple and delicious! Enjoy!

Convection roast @ 425°F


Ingredients:


- 2lb brussels sprouts

- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- 1 tsp salt

- ¼ tsp pepper

- 1 tbsp olive oil


Directions:


Cut a bit of the bottom off the brussels sprouts. Peel away the outside layers of the leaves as they can be old or dirty. Then cut the brussels sprouts in half lengthways. Place on a lined baking sheet (lined with aluminum foil and parchment paper).

Pour all the seasoning over the brussels sprouts and give it a good mix. Spread your sprouts out in a single layer before cooking. Bake for 10-20 mins until brown and sprouts are tender.
