These are easy and great for the grill during the summer months!

Makes 6 patties.

Ingredients:

- 500g lean ground beef

- 500g regular ground beef

- 1¼ tbsp sea salt

- 1 tsp black pepper

- 1½ tbsp seasoning powder (I use one from Trader Joe's called 21 seasoning salute but you can use any seasoning powder you want as long as there is no salt in it. You can also make your own with a mixture of garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano/thyme and a little bit of chilli flakes)

- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together but be careful not to over mix. If you over mix, the patties will be tough. Also make sure your meat is nice and cold before you grill or bbq it as it will help keep its shape.

TIP: when you flatten the patty make sure the middle of the patty is thinner as the middle always takes the longest to cook. I also put all my patties on an oiled baking tray and I oil the tops of the patties before they go on the grill.

If you want to make them into cheeseburgers, make sure you add the cheese towards the very end when your patties are already cooked.

Served between a hamburger bun. Add toppings and sauces to your liking such as lettuce, onions, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup and mustard.

Have fun grilling!
