Fried egg tofu

This is one of my fave weekday meals. My kid loves this dish! He can devour the entire portion on his own! It takes minutes to make and only a few ingredients and is delish!



Ingredients:


- 2 tubes of egg tofu (I prefer the brand: Mandarin Soyfoods)

- 3 green onions

- ½ cup corn starch (Approx.)

- ¼ cup oyster sauce

- 2 tbsp water

- 1 tbsp sesame oil

- ¼ tsp black pepper


Directions:


Cut your egg tofu into ½ inch rounds. Coat each round with the corn starch and fry until golden brown on both sides.



Put them aside on a plate and add a little more oil in the same frying pan. Sauté the green onions until soft and fragrant. Then add oyster sauce and water and mix well. Once it starts to bubble add black pepper. Turn off the heat and add sesame oil. Pour sauce over the fried egg tofu and enjoy!
