This is the easiest marinade for salmon. It's a delicious sweet and salty teriyaki marinade for salmon. You can make a bigger batch of the sauce and keep it in the fridge in an air tight container to use for the future. Key tip! DO NOT overcook the salmon! Dry salmon always gives it a bad rep. But I promise doing it this way will help keep your salmon delicious and juicy! The BEST part about this?! It cooks in under 15 minutes!! So great for a 30 minute meal during the weekday!

Ingredients:
- 4 garlic cloves minced
- 1½” piece of ginger (peeled & minced)
- 2-3 green onions sliced
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 650g – 700g fillet of salmon
Directions:
Place all seasonings into a bowl and mix well. Tip: easiest way to peel the ginger is with the back of a spoon. If you have a grater then you can grate the ginger as well. Otherwise cut the piece of ginger into thin coins. Then stack the coins and slice into thin matchsticks. Then crosswise on the matchsticks to get a mince.
Pour sauce over the salmon. There is no need to allow time to marinade. Remember to place your salmon on a parchment lined baking sheet as it will get sticky and a little saucy.
Broil @425°F for 13 – 15 mins. The fish should be just firm. Don’t cook more than that as you will end up with a dry piece of fish.
Serve with some rice and vegetables and dinner is ready!
