These buttermilk waffles are a hit for weekend brunch with the fam!

Makes 4 Belgian style waffles.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup melted unsalted butter Directions: Whisk all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
In a separate bowl (I prefer using a pyrex measuring jar), whisk together all the wet ingredients.
Then add all wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Do not over mix. You want a lumpy batter!
Preheat your waffle iron and ladle in. I use a Belgian waffle iron and it takes about 2 ladles of batter per waffle. This recipe will make about 4 Belgian waffles.
Serve with butter and syrup or whipped cream and fruits and enjoy!
TIP: You can make a couple batches and freeze these waffles. You can heat them up again in the toaster or toaster oven.
